February 18, 2022 (Paris, France) - The highest streamed French singer in the world, Willy William, is releasing his latest Latin and Caribbean-inspired track, “Trompeta.” The song, which comes out alongside the official lyrics video, is fully written, composed, and produced by William. “Trompeta” is available on all digital streaming platforms today. Throughout his career, the French-born DJ and songwriter has produced back-to-back global hits like “Mi Gente,” alongside Colombian artist J Balvin, and its remix featuring Beyonce; “Goodbye” with Jason Derulo, David Guetta, and Nicki Minaj; and most recently “MAMBO” with Steve Aoki, Sean Paul, El Alfa, Sfera Ebbasta & Play-N-Skillz, recognized with a nomination to Premio Lo Nuestro 2022 under the “Pop-Urban/Dance - Song of the Year” category. Biography
William became an international sensation after the release of “Mi Gente,” with J Balvin, a song based on his previously released French single “Voodoo Song.” The track received praise from the likes of Barack Obama who announced “Mi Gente” as his #1 favorite song of the year, and also garnered the admiration of Beyoncé. This led her to release the official remix, which was produced by Scorpio Music and amassed over 104 million views on YouTube alone. Its videoclip that counts over 3 billion YouTube views, won a MTV VMA. Mi Gente is part of Spotify Billions Club as it maintained the No.1 spot on Spotify Global for 12 consecutive weeks (topping charts across the world in over 55 countries).
